Ironic Idiocy
Posted: August 30th, 2009 | Author: Daniel J Miles | Filed under: Uncategorized | Comments OffI feel I should make it clear at the start that I’m not a big fan of Sue Bradford – but surely people must see the irony in the fact that people are campaigning for legalised smacking on the basis that that violence is appropriate (no judgement being passed as to whether I agree, that’s immaterial), whilst simultaneously these same people are calling for Bradford to be assasinated.
I wish I understood what was going on in these people’s heads. Feel you are being denied your right to strike your child, and so respond by calling Jihad on the woman you hold responsible.
My advice to those campaigning against the smacking legislation: don’t act like a dangerously unbalanced violence-soaked pillock who should probably be locked up if you want to be taken seriously.
EDIT: The threatening account is here. Apparently when not death-threatening politicians, the account is mainly used to impersonate a cat. Possibly should have stuck with the more intelligent persona.
