The Great AbsoluteGenius Road Trip

This weekend Daniel and Jackson will embark upon a journey to the undoubted arsehole of New Zealand: New Plymouth—no offense Palmerston North, of course. It was close.

Part of the reason for this road trip is Jackson’s current wanted criminal status with the police. No doubt you will shortly see us on Police Ten 7.

During our sojourn from the warm embrace of Wellington’s house-dotted valleys to the culturally barren streets upon New Plymouth’s undulating alluvial plains, we shall not only be live blogging but recording video evidence of the expedition.

We hope to turn this footage into an Absolute Genius short so you can share in our joy juvenility jackanapishness journey.

The trip will commence at about 10 am Saturday 3 October when Wood (bringing the whiskey) will pick up Miles (bringing the cigars) from Whitby.

We aim to stop off at some of the more colourful locales along the way. A quick chuckle at the incredi-bull puns in Bulls. A brisk walk along the silty banks of the Whanganui River, overflowing with excess H’s.. A P-fueled sprint from Stratford to NP, skipping out Inglewood and the sundry of Midhurst and Egmont Villiage.

New Plymouth beware. Something big is coming.
