I mean, I know that any liveblog invariably contains some sort of messy tirade against the poor bastard providing the technical services for it – in this case, Jackson James Wood’s cellphone hooked up to Telecom’s XT network.

But the best way to deal with the inevitable criticism about the quality of your service, Telecom, is to improve your service. Not to simply cut off mobile data for the bulk of the North Island, in an attempt solely to silence us we are sure.
